Dental and Oral Medicine Alliance
The Dental and Oral Medicine Alliance provides degree programs for people in full-time work. Its aim is to support the needs of a new generation of dental specialists, allowing them to develop competitive business strategies based on a sound theoretical foundation. Students are prepared for the entrepreneurial challenges of the rapidly changing domestic and international health market. The DOMA also carries out applied dental and management research as part of its alliance activities. This focuses on oral implantology, periodontology and esthetic dentistry.
The Master of Science in Oral Implantology provides dental specialists with instruction on a field shaped by scientific innovation and extraordinary change – implantology is currently the fastest growing market in dentistry. The alliance designed this degree with experts from the German Association of Oral Implantology.
Students on the course complete a project, allowing them to transfer their knowledge from science and research to everyday dental technology and innovative business models. The aim of the degree is to consolidate student knowledge and share the very latest technology, thus offering dentists the opportunity to realize implantology insights and skills on a professional level.
These principles are also central to the Master of Science in periodontology, a program designed by the alliance in partnership with leading international lecturers who are highly esteemed by the scientific community. This degree also sets qualitative standards for the further education of dental specialists, revolving around innovation and progressive thinking.
Most recently, the DOMA has launched its Master of Science in Esthetic Dentistry, a new degree targeted at dentists with above-average personal and professional ambitions who would like to offer their patients specialist services in the field of esthetic cosmetic dentistry.
