Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology

SIMT offers various degree programs and other educational services to assist employees in companies with an international outlook in acquiring the skills and expertise they need to succeed. The SIMT rests on a strong foundation of technology, innovation and international management.

Featuring modules in general management as well as innovation and technology management, the three-year business bachelor’s degree program was designed for executives without a university degree. Experienced professionals from any industry are welcome to apply. Fast-track employees who qualify for university admission and come from a commercial background may enroll in a business studies program to earn a bachelor’s degree. Those interested in technical or industrial professions should pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

The Executive Master of Business Administration with modules in general management, financial management, finance and strategic innovation is intended for executives and businesspeople with an academic degree and relevant work experience.

German and foreign university graduates, especially in technology and the natural sciences, will find a master’s degree focusing on business and technology particularly appealing. Students receive a grant and undertake a specific two-year project for the company. Master’s degrees in international management were also designed with foreign university graduates and global companies in mind. Students manage a twoyear project on an international scale for their host company. The benefits are twofold: the company puts the project to genuine use as it competes in international markets and the student establishes a basis for future employment.

SIMT completes its program with a range of non-collegiate educational services such as the SIMT Management Education Network (MEN). MEN, an English-language continuing education program aimed at upper management, assembles company networks as needed. Case studies are frequently used to convey information – a method which also guarantees that units relate to real business as much as possible and knowledge transfers efficiently. SIMT services also include the “SIMT Taylor Mades” – continuing education programs created to meet the precise needs of a company – and the “SIMT seminars”.
