All measures and objectives for equality are set out in the equality concept of Steinbeis University of Applied Sciences. Its implementation is in the hands of our equal opportunities officer. The equal opportunities officers participate in all committees and commissions
The responsibilities of the equal opportunities officer are diverse and include topics such as career planning, diversity, and balancing family, studies, and work. The equal opportunities officers are involved in all committees and commissions, such as the Senate, the departmental council, and appointments. Our Diversity Management team, which includes the equal opportunities officers and the disability officer, also offers expert advice and support in cases of conflict and sexual harassment—both for individuals and groups.
