No teaching without research
Research enables a university to develop further and be innovative. Dedicated scientific work makes teaching attractive and future-oriented. Applied research provides new impetus for exchange with students as well as with business and society – and opens up paths for the future.
At Steinbeis University of Applied Sciences, applied research is conducted in all research areas relevant to the university. Scientific work and its results are an integral part of knowledge transfer. In this way, we create continuity from research to the application of results in degree programs and transfer projects. The university-wide internal dialogue as well as the exchange with national and international research partners are also important elements of the research culture.
New solutions for current and future challenges
Research is an important tool for meeting social, technological, and economic challenges. To the extent that we develop solutions for these challenges, research is a substantial basis for sustainable value creation and an integral part of our university culture.
